Make sure that MS-DTC is running. (DtcGetTransactionManagerEx(): hr = 0x8004d027)Can someone tell me how to fix these application errors? Why do the error specifics point to drive d: ? Drive D is a partition that contains the recorvery files for my HP desktop on my hard drive. Why would something be calling for that? It is inactive as far as I know, until I press F8 while booting up. 1 person needs an answerI do too

windows xp sp3 media center editon 2005, my computer is a standalone. It seems that the only apparent issue I am having with my computer at this time is that the linksys wireless PCI Adapter starts with a connection speed of 54 Mbps and then it drops to 48, 36 and 28 and then varies between all them. If I repair my connection it starts strong again at 54 and slowly drops. I am wondering if this is related to the Event ID 4427? Is there anything I can do to fix this? It is a relatively new problem

What model linksys wireless PCI Adapter? What are you connecting to? How far is your computer from the other device? The MS-DTC is the Distributed Transaction Coordinator. Select Start, Control Panel, Services. Locate the Distributed Transaction Coordinator and check that the StartUp type is Manual.Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell
